And don’t forget the boob job. Oh, she’s had one — her pathetic performance with Alan Colmes proved it for me. I’ve seen that look before; my ex-wife’s mother (my ex-mother-in-law?) worked for the most expensive plastic surgeon in San Francisco. A fine looking mature woman she was anyway, but right after she had her breasts lifted she had the SAME LOOK on her face and the same body language as Harris did on that notorious booby-shot interview. It’s unmistakable.

Tim Russert threw the FL Gov debate allowing Jeb Bush to talk about tax cuts while probing McBride’s budget and how he’ll balance the books by getting tax cheats. Maybe McBride wasn’t going to balance the budget but Jeb’s plans offered less revenue and got less “serious” scrutiny.

Little Russ even got a big hug from Barbara when the debate ended.

Don’t give Little Russ the MoJo of hosting Senatorial debates. Let some serious venue hold one — Colbert for instance. Make Tim drag out Rogaine Joe for another one-one debate where he interrupts himself. Great TV and no election gets hurt.

I also find it interesting that Lamont-Lieberman did not get chosen for MTP debates from now till November. Why not?

Here in Connecticut I would really like to see Green Candidate for Senate Ralph Ferrucci poll higher than GOP Candidate for Senate Alan Schlesinger (like FIVE percent would do it, A.S. is at about FOUR). Ha! That would make debate invites and podium placement and who enters first and last all quite the mess. Yes yes, I know, issues issues. But some part of me does like the chaos we are causing. I emailed Mom the quote from Dick Cheney yesterday “Dean Democrats have defeated Joe Lieberman” and said “I am so proud to be a Pain in the Vice President’s Ass!”

Green candidates leach support off (real) Dems – helps Lieberman. Please be careful what you wish for.

I remember when the big Mormon Temple was newly constructed between Washington DC and Baltimore and you could see it from the beltway. A huge white glowing monstrosity. They opened it to the public for one day and then replaced all the carpet that the dirty heathens had soiled (to the tune of millions iirc). This was at least 25 years ago.

Then the funniest thing. Someone somehow got on a freeway overpass and spray painted in black “Surrender Dorothy” in huge letters as you’d pass the temple. Hysterical!

I remember that – it was brilliant (and was on the overpass for a while). You’d come around a bend in the beltway and you’d see Surrender Dorothy with the temple as back drop – don’t think the Marriotts were too happy with the signage

Regarding debates here in CT — the questioner is the key. We all love JoAnn Nesti here in CT — but she let Lieberman walk all over her, Ned, the format, etc. We need somebody from the media who is not in Lieberman’s pocket, or not terrified at the thought of losing access to challenge that crap and make him answer the questions. Otherwise, he’ll flibuster like he did the last time. That’s my worry.

The reason I was surprised Timmeh had not set up a CT Senate debate was because I thought he and Joey had each other on speed-dial, and Timmeh would love to do a favor for a buddy.
