If the court allows lies to be a defense well we’ll be able to clear out our jails. I know Abramoff/Cunningham/ the so called dead Ken Lay will all use the land mark case as a defense on their appeals. Notice how Ken Lay’s lawyers want his case dismissed so when he’s caught alive there will be no charges against him and of course his wife will have all the stolen money. Now that’s one for the books. How many other convicted criminals who died and later found innocent would love the same treatment.
