I was disappointed today to learn that WETM 18 has chosen not to
disclose that Congressman Kuhl committed domestic violence, and
prompts the question whether he is fit to serve in Congress. His
divorce papers are public records. What has motivated the station to
remain silent? You are responsible to report the news objectively and
let the chips fall where they may. I reside on the west coast, but
this kind of public information would have been disclosed. Please
reconsider your decision.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate knowing the legal status of the records and certainly do not want media violating the law. Also, while I am a middle class person of limited means, I care about and have contributed to races all over the U. S. Further, I’m sure you understand that Congressmen from New York cast votes that affect Oregonians. And Congressman Kuhl’s votes have negatively impacted me.
