After Joe Lieberman’s non-concession speech on Tuesday night, The Rolling Stones’ "Start Me Up" started blaring through my TV. For your reading pleasure, a pull quote from the song:
You make a grown man cry
You make a dead man cum
Great lyrics, but pretty raunchy for a political campaign, no? These lyrics have unfortunately been painting a really ugly picture in my head since Tuesday night’s election. Who chose that song for a politician? Weird.
I’ve had another question since Tuesday night. Do The Rolling Stones know that this dangerous nerd is publicly using their saucy rock song as a rallying cry for… himself?
The Stones released a track called "Sweet Neo Con " on their last album that really socked it to the right wing. I highly doubt that Mick & co. would touch neo con-lover Lieberman with a ten foot pole. I’d get my people on it.
Being a recording artist myself, I was interested in finding out exactly what kind of rights an artist has protecting their material from usage in this way. I decided to call on a friend; attorney Joseph J. Madonia of Chicago, to get the skinny on the legalities. According to Joseph, "the campaigns not only have to pay for the usage of the song, they also have to get permission from the artist or artist’s representative. If permission is not obtained this would be a copyright infringement, and also a possible violation of the Lanham Act which protects the artist’s rights from a false sense of sponsorship or affiliation."
There is a pretty extensive article on the history of campaign songs at http://www.presidentelect.org/art_schimler_singing.html though the article makes no mention of Tom Petty and John Hall of Orleans siccing their lawyers with cease and desist papers on George W. for soiling their songs "I Won’t Back Down" and "Still The One" during W’s 2000 campaign rallies. George Bush Sr. had the gall to use Woody Guthrie’s "This Land Is Your Land". Is that gross or what? My friend seems to remember Bruce Springsteen getting on Reagan’s ass about using "Born In The USA" way back in the day.
A few words about this week’s Spin.
Jim Noir is a new artist that I’ve really been digging and got turned on to this week. His above video and song "My Patch" goes out to all of the voters who got tired of getting egged and brought down the big turkey in Connecticut this week.
"Blossom (Got To Get It Out)" by Komeda is by far the most rockin’ and positive party songs I’ve heard in a long time. The sample on I-Tunes does not do this song justice. I’m telling you, it jams. Even the most musically discerning (snooty) of my musician friends cannot resist this song.
I wanted to include Hit The Road Jack, however I-Tunes apparently has everyone’s version of that tune, including Helen Reddy’s, except for Ray Charles. What is up with that?

This is the sixth installment of The Spin I’m In by Donita Sparks. Her weekly column for Firedoglake.com features a different playlist each week centered around a different theme. This week’s theme is a victory dance for the FDL community to celebrate the Ned Lamont Democratic primary win in the CT Senate race held on August 8th. Lamont’s victory over incumbent Senator Joseph Lieberman was hailed as a major achievement for the Netroots by many in the MSM and the credit for the win goes mostly to Jane Hamsher and the community at FDL. Hamsher’s early promotion of Lamont’s candidacy was the catalyst behind the wider support of the entire Netroots community that led to early fundraising and media coverage that was decisive in this victory. This week’s playlist is dedicated to everybody at FDL that helped make this possible! |

Donita!
Yay! I was needin me some Donita!
I was too busy wrangling reporters at Lamont HQ to hear Joe’s choice of tunes but Start Me Up is quite a choice for Mr. Censorship! Thanks Donita for calling this out!
Maybe we can recommend some better titles to his campaign along with some notes explaining how truly shocked we are that Holy Joe would use such a vulgar song!
ah … FDL always re-energizes me!
EPU’d from last thread….

This really resonates with me. On New Year’s Eve 1989 following the amazing events in Germany that fall, I was standing along with tens of thousands of others atop and next to the Berlin Wall, with our then 5-month old son in a backpack, celebrating and literally crying my eyes out. Probably the only time in my life I’d truly cried except at the birth of our kids. I’d lived in Germany for many years and knew we had to come back for that incredible, completely unanticipated day to be with our friends there. Never thought I’d ever live long enough to see that day, and was overjoyed for what I thought must be the beginning of a new era, most particularly for our children.
And now I too often look back on those Cold War days with nostalgia, and really fear more for the future of our children than I ever did back then. Thank you, George…..
P.S. I know Osama and the jihadists deserve some of the blame here, but good police and intelligence work could’ve dealt with them and a rational foreign policy done much to de-fuse the situations that gave birth to their movements, as opposed to an insane foreign policy that’s increased the dangers ten-fold and will now take decades to undo.

Loser – Beck
or is that too obvious
Donita- I wanted to listen to you last night on KXLU but I was retired. In the early 80’s I worked at Gelson’s in the Pacific Palisades with Livation hosts Eric Stringer and Robert Douglas. I remember Stringers favorite band was The Damned.
Teddy – You question my omniscience at your own peril. Be careful.
Can’t stop listening to ‘Trance Control’ by John Vanderslice. The music is gorgeous, and the lyrics are eerie & mysterious – a great combo for a ‘deep’ pop song. mp3 here.
Donita!
Great research with regard to RGJoe’s stealing the Stones’ work for his pitiful ego massage. Wow. What would it take, do you suppose, for the Stones to go after his pasty white ass?
Hey, on-topic today is Mark Morford in the SFChronicle, writing about the nexus of music, teens, and sex (have yer pearls within clutching reach prior to clicking on http://sfgate.com/columnists/morford/)
That’s why it irks me that Limbaugh uses that Pretenders’ song. The performance royalties must outweigh the nausea on Chrissie’s part, I guess.
Obviously, I ain’t got a problem with licensing. I’d just never sell to that fuckwit.

I think that Sympathy For The Devil or Shattered would have better choices
Maybe the lads can dedicate their next performance of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” to Crybaby Joey.
As for my playlist, I’ve been listening to the shit outta Little Richard. Again. Now I’ve turned my kids onto him.
“Keep A’ Knockin’” is pure rock and roll.
Itunes can only sell songs if it has agreements with the song owners. Try searching Itunes for Paul McCartney. Maybe it is that Apple dispute thing.
I think Keith Richards lives in Connecticut. I wouldn’t want Keith mad at me. My advice to Lieberman is a Neil Young song….”Lookout, Joe”
Stupefaction by Graham Parker
How about “Your time is gonna come” by Led Zeppelin? “Lyin’, cheatin’, hurtin’, that’s all you seem to do…”
for RGJoe: “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to!” Since it started Leslie Gore’s career, can it be used to end RGJoe’s? Some Gore-stinkyman symmetry there, methinks.
I heard the song during Joe’s non-concession speech, and I thought it was a pretty bizarre choice of music for Mr. Censorship. I remarked to Ms. Redshift that I doubted the Rolling Stones would approve.

Springsteen did get Reagan to stop using Born in the USA. He was actually very vocal about it at the time.

I don’t know if he stole it. someone could’ve gotten permission from some Stones representative…manager, publisher, record label, but I’ll bet it wasn’t the band
neil-My advice to Lieberman is a Neil Young song….”Lookout, Joe”
Excellent
I just think he should play the theme from Love Story…….for his true, unwavering love of himself.
Right on. I almost fell off the couch Tuesday night when “Start Me Up” started up. As another (very localized – Northampton, MA area) recording artist, I’d just like to say that two song titles off my band’s first CD apply to today’s Spin I’m In: “No Use Pretending” and “Dream World.”
Joe. It’s closing time, man. Get off the stage.
Listened to your set last night online. Sounds great! Have a great show on Saturday.
Sid
I know people usually give Nancy Sinatra a lot of grief and make fun of her as a musician, but she’s really not that bad hehe. The “video” for Boots is of course campy and fun. I’ve heard a few songs by her over the years that are quite acceptable (albeit pop). She was certainly no David Bowie or L7 though :)
I got one for Short Ride;
Dream On, Aerosmith.
bakho@16
it is that Apple dispute. no Beatles
Everythingseemssoneat@7
I know it was a late one. I think they’re going to archive the performance
Donita, although I’m not nearly enough of a music afficianado to run with you, I really appreciate your broadening my musical horizons. For example, I had never even heard of Darlene Love, before your last post, even though I realized I had been listening to some of her music.
Or perhaps something Classical . . . Beethoven’s “Pathetique.”
How about the Dixie Chicks: Cowboy take Me Away.
Donita
The Jim Noir video is GENIUS! OMG, maybe r more catchy than the Ditty Bops from a couple of weeks ago…….where do you find this guy?????
I hear you knocking . . .
One of my faves, a good one for Joe. I need some seriously happy feet music though, bc I am dragging. The Lamont victory was wonderful and hardwon. But there is so much that keeps getting stacked up – amnesty and legalization for war crimes, amnesty and *legalizaton* for FISA and 4th Amend violations, rulings that make espionage charges gain traction for use against journalists, and on and on.
Awww come on Tommy! Not mentioning your song with Ricki Lee? But never you worry, we’ll bring up your fantastic new hit Have You Had Enough? for you! Listen to it every day now several times. Yes, it’s a huge hit with the grandson, his head jerks towards the music now at the opening notes. :) Love it.
Anyone remember the song “Mr. Custer by Larry Verne in the 60’s….
Well, at the link click on video in the middle of the paragraph. The video includes pictures of Iraq.
How about Carly Simmon – “You’re so vain….”
Reagan did indeed use Born in the USA. Bruce complained but there was also a backlash because, as anyone who has listened to the song knows, it is NOT a pro-America anthem.
I get so fed up with music being used to promote products (including politicians). Hearing Iggy’s “Lust For Life”, an ode to heroin, being used to sell cruises, or more recently, the Beatles’ “All You Need is Love”, even the Ramones – it’s just so maddening.
Maybe I’ll see ya Saturday at the Scene. I’ve seen L7 more times than I can count, but I haven’t seen you’re new band yet :-(
I really miss Rage Against The Machine. That anger so well managed and expressed. Enjoy: Sleep Now In The Fire and Testify.
Donita: it is that Apple dispute. no Beatles
I thought it was just that the Beatles, or Apple Corps, had refused to allow online distribution of their music. Thus references to W having Beatles on his iPod possibly an indication of illegal behavior on W’s part (apart from all that other evidence…)
Apple and Apple are hammering out a deal that will be beneficial to both parties, methinks.
Bad Boys Get Spanked -
The Pretenders
Tears of a Clown…
Fool on the Hill…
and definitely, Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby”
Mark – As bad as it is, there is often a lot of snark in the choice of music for commercials. Ford or Mazda once used the music from The Nails’ song “88 Lines about 44 Women” as the background music in a commercial targetted AT women. Still makes me laugh.

This would be EPU’d. For those who were concerned about “independent democrat” Joe Lieberman is neither, I sent out a note, and received a reply from the readers rep there:

It happened again today. Brian Lockhart. A DailyKos diarist points out the Independent Party affiliation is also taken.
I realize that these instances have all been direct quotations from Lieberman, and so one could argue that the quote is accurate and that the Courant itself has not used that identification. But, at the very least, there should be a qualification added after the quote noting that his affiliation is Connecticut for Lieberman, neither independent nor democrat.

Of course, I don’t know if he stole it either, but given the track record of competence the stinkyman-for-stinkyman campaign has exhibited to date, the idea that anyone even knew that permission was required is a higher bar than I’ll grant them. Really.

That’s good news about the copy desk — they are the guys who have the last say about what gets into the paper. They are also guys who are in the office and have much more influence with the assignment editors than reporters
I remember reading an article during one of Reagan’s presidential campaigns saying he wanted to use John Mellencamp’s “Little Pink Houses” as a campaign theme. Mellencamp retorted something to the effect that Reagan clearly didn’t understand what the song was about.

Republicans are trying sooo hard to hang with the kewl kidz. That’s why they try to pick songs that they think will get them pop-approval.
Do you remember the Top 50 Conservative Rock Songs? They tried to pass these off as conservative:.
1) “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” by The Who
3) “Sympathy for the Devil,” by The Rolling Stones
13) “My City Was Gone,” by The Pretenders
20) “Rock the Casbah,” by The Clash
35) “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” by Creedence Clearwater Revival
And contrast that with the songs that Clear Channel banned from airplay after 9/11:
Louis Armstrong – “What A Wonderful World”
Buddy Holly and the Crickets – “That’ll Be The Day”
Carole King – “I Feel the Earth Move”
John Lennon – “Imagine”
Frank Sinatra – “New York, New York”

OT question I’ve been thinking about this morning.
Isn’t it true that Israel has the most sophisticated airline security system in the world? I’ve never heard their passengers being prohibited from carrying lipstick or contact lens solution. My goodness, how have they survived all these years without the restrictions?
And just imagine the sophisticated screening techniques we would already have in place if we’d spent 1% of the billions we’ve wasted on wrecking Iraq…
Anyway, anyone have any more info on how the Israelis do it… haven’t ever heard of one of their planes exploding mid-air. Thanks.

Freepatriot – I am pretty sure the admen know and it is some big, inside advertising agency joke half the time. The execs don’t know the lyrics, and in Lust for Life they’re hard to decipher just listening to it, and the music is bouncy and they all say “great.” And the admen go home and laugh.

I heard a talking head (Tucker?) say yesterday the Israeli’s record is 100%. I guess that’s since Entebbe
http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisda…..86967.stm.
But there was lots of talk with the other talking head (an expert?) about how the Israelis profile you based on your answers to lots of questions on a form, about why you are flying, with whom, to do what, your eventual destination.
Apparently, civil liberties are violated, but no one has to fly naked without lip gloss. FWIW.
Guided By Voices has so many songs fitting Lieberman, it’s hard to know which to choose. Alone, Stinking and Unafraid perhaps, or Congratulations, You’re Under Sedation (just a suspicion on my part). Liar’s Tale, or Men Who Create Fright, or Not Good for the Mechanism, or Really Gonna Love Me Now, and on and on.
My final choice: Do the Collapse. Kinda says it all.

ccmask, I really like your 12:34.
Shez & Teddy -
Thanks for the replies (sorry to hijack the thread *no airplane pun intended) but I’ve been jonesing to get some opinions!).
Teddy, yes, Israel is intense about the way they profile their passengers and that’s probably the foremost reason for the 100% track record. They also must screen the checked-in luggage, which is something we STILL don’t do (I think we do random checks but it’s not thorough… unbelievable, no?).
So I hear now that we can put all those liquids in our checked bags, just not the carry-on. If that’s true it’s FUBAR.
Anyway, I’ll bring it up on another thread as it’s a mystery to me. I guess it’s also possible that Israel will now start restricting these items – who knows?
Thanks again.

Although, we don’t get credit for Lamont’s win. A lopt of people are way ahead of us on that line. MOst of all, the voters in CT. We did talk about the race and publicize it a lot, and we got some stories out there, and we recruited some volnteers.

I think the song the KISS float needs is “So Long, Farewell,” from the Sound of Music:
There’s a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say “cuckoo”
[Marta, Gretl, Brigitta:]
Cuckoo, cuckoo
[Children: Marta, Gretl, Brigitta: ]
Regretfully they tell us Cuckoo, cuckoo
But firmly they compel us Cuckoo, cuckoo
To say goodbye . . .
[Marta, Gretl, Brigitta:]
Cuckoo!
[Children:]
. . . to you.
So long, farewell . . .
Right up Joe’s alley!
That’s what I get for blogging at work and not reading all the posts.

If I’m not mistaken, El Al is a state run airline. They do a LOT of interviews with passengers before a flight. A friend of mine is a blonde, old maid British school teacher (first grade) and they interviewed her for something like fifteen minutes. So they have a proceedure that just wouldn’t work with most commercial airlines.

Josh Marshall gets shrill. I’m loving it.
“Here at TPM Media, as many techish companies do, we have a little internal chat system where we discuss editorial business and other topics through the course of the day. And yesterday, after I saw Greg Sargent’s update that Lieberman was going down the ‘A win for Lamont will be a victory for the terrorists’ track, I openned up our chat and wrote something to the effect of, “I’ve always liked Joe, but with this ‘victory for the terrorists’, it’s enough. F–k him.”
Justin Rood shot back, you should write that. And he’s right. So here I am.
Readers of this site know I’ve always had a soft spot for Lieberman. I was ambivalent about the primary race, didn’t have a horse in it, I think I said. And it only became a simple matter for me after Lamont won. He’s the Democratic candidate. End of story. Not because I felt differently about Lieberman necessarily. But I think all Democrats, all progressives, liberals, whatever, should support the Democratic candidate. And that’s Ned Lamont. That and tell Lieberman to get out of the race.”

IMHO, the Tribune is probably the most conservative major daily in the country. That op-ed won’t be well received in the WH.
I gotta song for the Senator.
fahrender @ 121
This brings up a coupla points, for me. First of all, there’ll be a re-birth of those programs to let frequent flyers bypass almost all the screening if they give the Feds data about themselves. Second, when Tucker interviewed Frances Townsend (Bush’s wife for Homeland Security) she “imagined” how difficult it would be for her to travel under these new restrictions with two small children, blah, blah, like she EVER travels on anything but highly secure FedAir.
In other words, this crackdown will hurt the economy (airline stocks down 4-7% today and the market down almost 70pts) and it will also NOT inconvenience any of those who implement the rules. Strike yet another blow for the elite!
Peterr @ 119
Although all of the suggestions for new Lieberman songs have been great today, this one takes the cake. “Cuckoo Cuckoo”
“(Bush’s wife for Homeland Security)”
LMAO
Sorry for bringing Tucker into the thread twice — but I find his hair much more intriguing than Byron York’s AND I’m eagerly anticipating his breathless coverage of Irving’s trial, given his Dad’s major role in Barbara Comstock’s Scooter Slush Fund.
fahrender @ 121
Relatively small fleet too. Only 35 or so aircraft.
We should do away with air travel altogether, and just build those “people mover” tubes like they have in Futurama hehe.
TOOBZ!
Donita, would you be offended if I added an Update about credit for the Lamnt win, from my comment? We don’t want anyone to musunderstand our poition hre on the blog, if that’s okay.
John Casper @ 130
I agree, Hilda, John. There were also good op-eds in the Boston Globe today:
http://www.boston.com/news/glo…..lieberman/
and another by Graham Allison, that I can’t reach, for some reason. Plus an anti-Lieberman cartoon by Wasserman.
Coz: Relatively small fleet too. Only 35 or so aircraft.
Entebbe was an Air France plane, so don’t the Israeli procedures now apply to all airlines in and out of Israeli airports, not just El Al?
Scarecrow, I think you’re right. “Talking head” is probably too good for him.
TSF, that interview with Townsend was pathetic. I don’t want to pull too much off-topic here because I love Donita’s music threads, so you can read my latest blog entry if you care what really got my brow furrowed.
And now, how about some real Talking Heads: Life During Wartime
Second that, Pach.
Maybe Lieberman should put warning labels on his events. Warning: sexually explicit themes.
Pachacutec @ 138
Hey pach, I wrote that description for the iMix, feel free to edit anything, I wrote it quickly and felt it was from the heart, but if you think it needs clarification do your thang.

If we had a high-speed rail system I’d never fly again anyway. Geez, by this time I thought we’d all be buzzing around in those Jetson hover thingies….
I think people in general are going to be lot less mobile, not visiting the way they once did. Just today for the first time ever, I’ve been toying with the idea of relocating back to the east coast, as that’s where most of my longtime friends and family live.
I love living at the beach but I also like getting away from time to time. I’m feeling restricted and uncomfortable about traveling now. And driving cross-country with gas prices the way they are? Forget about it. I pity the older, retired folks who dreamed of getting that motor home and spending their golden years seeing the U.S. That dream ain’t happening either.
Our lives are about to get a whole lot smaller.

The repugnacans used Born in the USA in either reagan or bush1’s coventon I guess none of them listened to the words beyond the title. Also someone on a national level used john mellencamps Pink Houses, a little sarcastic for politics I thought.

HAHAHAHA – Perfect!
Wow, Radiohead humor – a whole new breed of comedy!
FiniFini -
GOOD. Amy Goodman takes no prisoners. And if Tweety lets her talk and get her points across it should be powerful. I swear some days I feel like she’s carrying the weight of our shrinking democracy on her shoulders alone. She’s a fighter.

Yessir!
Reagan’s ‘84 campaign did NOT use “Born in the USA.” Reagan referred to Springsteen during a campaign stop in New Jersey, and Springsteen was unhappy about that, but there was no copyright violation.
Soon afterward, Mondale tried the same stunt, saying that Bruce “might have been born to run, but he wasn’t born yesterday.”

And the much promised part two of my wandering thoughts o’ the day. Comes from the cbl site, commenting backup for the fdl site in case of blackout. Would love to give the name of the commenter but holding back in case there would be some reason she doesn’t want wider coverage.
Re the personal and the political, from this fellow fdl commenter:
“GrandmaJ…I don’t know if you will come back here for any follow up but I will take a chance and hold out a hand. I am having the same kind of day. I started crying last night in reading TRex’s post and the resulting wondrous thread, woke up this morning with tears in my heart and eyes have been leaking all day. It’s tough. My family experienced a tragedy last December. I have been quietly licking my wounds, and, even though I don’t comment much, having the connection to so many incredible people via FDL has been a true blessing. I have witnessed your tragedy, I have witnessed Jane’s loss, I watch HopeSAT struggle as she valiantly keeps her head above the water…and egregious with her incredible work, and, and, and… I send prayers to the gods for all of us who fight the good fight. Once in a while something/someone comes along and brings the personal into a focus that is so exquisitely sharp as to be paralyzing. I understand. That’s all I can do. Understand and send virtual hugs.”
Well this makes ME cry with sheer delight that there are such sympathetic people in our universe. ALL she can do is understand?? When such understanding keeps people like me away from the edge of the cliff, so I can then save the lives of others now numbering in the 4 digits? Hers, along with cbl, lotus, angie, littledog, peterr–and SEVERAL others I’m too jetlagged to recall–a rare jewel of a gift. How many egregious wrongs in the world could be put right, if only someone would understand and put out a helping hand.

Jane thread
Hm. I still think the worst choice of a pop tune for a political campaign was Lamar Alexander’s in the 1996 GOP primary race. “Same as it Ever Was.” Lamar was running on the plaid-shirt platform, and I guess he thought the title said it all–good conservative sounding thing. “‘Same as it ever was’–yep, I like that. Just the message for a conservative like me.” Plus picking a Talking Heads tune must have seemed a little “hep” and “with-it.”
But what in the world did he think the lyrics actually suggested about his campaign? “You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack…” “You may say to yourself, ‘My god! What have I done!’”
Oh yeah, there’s a GOP promo for ya.
Pachacutec @ 198
We should toot our horn for the role we played in getting out a message. Ned get’s the credit for having the right message.
Stones songs for Lieberman?
“Who wants yesterday’s paper
Who wants yesterday’s girl
Who wants yesterday’s paper
Nobody in the world…”
Is that Beck song Loser too mean for Joe? “I’m a loser baby, why doncha hmm hmm…” Its got evil and slabs of turkey neck in it?
Fini FiniTOOBZ! @ 152
Some confusion. I didn’t write the dedication of the i-mix playlist.
I dedicated the song and video for “My Patch” to the voters of Conn.’”My Patch” goes out to all of the voters who got tired of getting egged and brought down the big turkey in Connecticut this week.’
The title of my piece this week “We’ll Bring You Down” is a referene to the lyric in “My Patch” and also how I feel as a registered but pissed-off Democrat.
registered but pissed-off Democrat: works for me, more of these please!
Actually, anyone can buy a license to use a song. Regrettably, it take a proactive move by the artist or writer to prevent it. All you have to do is contact the publishing company and pay a fee.
It may have been a one-time use right or he may have bought a multiple use license. the number of uses is almost always specified.
I’d contact the Stones’ management directly if you want to try to get them to yank the license. They can afford it, that’s for sure.
Guitar Playing Bastard @ 207
I personally have had to approve evey usage of my songs including the Natural Born Killers soundtrack and Grand Theft Auto to just name couple. You can check out 43 A of the Lanham Act usage.

Sorry, itwasntme, it was Reagan who was Pres in ‘84 and I must hold him accountable for his own idiocy!
“The 1984 presidential campaign was in full stride at the time, and Will had connections to President Ronald Reagan’s re-election organization. Will thought that Springsteen might endorse Reagan, and allow Reagan to use his song, “Born in the USA,” and got the notion pushed up to high-level Reagan advisor Michael Deaver’s office. Those staffers made inquiries to Springsteen’s management, which were politely rebuffed.
Nevertheless, on September 19, 1984, at a campaign stop in Hammonton, New Jersey, Reagan added the following to his usual stump speech:
“America’s future rests in a thousand dreams inside your hearts; it rests in the message of hope in songs so many young Americans admire: New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen. And helping you make those dreams come true is what this job of mine is all about.”
