Bill Richardson was supported by major elements of the Republican Party in his first run for governor. He gutted the education trust so he could cut taxes.

Bill Richardson had no problem with having one of the highest (if not the highest) vote spoilage rate in the nation. All concentrated on the Indian Rez and Hispanic precincts.

Bill Richardson is a very nice guy. To Anglos, he’s an Anglo. To Latinos, he’s a Mexican. To Democrats, he’s a Clinton cabinet member. To Republicans, he’s a sincere supporter of the Death Star and energy pork.

Will Max Cleland be dragging himself back to CT to declaim that Joe’s victimization was the same thing Saxby Chambliss did to him? Cleland is the biggest jerk of all the Joe supporters.

Our governor wants to be presnit real bad — don’t ever take your eye off that. He’s pretty much establishment on most issues, though I have to say he does it with some flair. As public officials go, I’d call him pro-environment. He shows up a lot, talks to people, makes local and state news. At least he’s a real governor.
Too bad the country doesn’t have a real president. I’d settle for most anyone with intelligence, compassion, and a good handshake.

Unbelievable. You don’t know what you are talking about. The Governor of New Mexico before Governor Richardson was a Republican. Sen. Pete Domenici is a Republican. Rep. Heather Wilson is a Republican. Rep. Steve Pearce is a Republican.

The fact is, Bill Richardson has served New Mexico well for many years, as a true Democrat. He did not exactly have control over his father’s employment situation. He has served this Nation admirably. What, he is not supposed to work with Kissinger? Why not? Because he is a Republican?
