Interesting post and comments Jane. But the people of Connecticut have not spoken yet. Only the Democrats have. I’ll be curious if everyone calling for Leibermans head and yelling “The people have spoken” will give a hoot if the “people” have the Senate seat back to Joe in November.

But, it would be a long post, and I am, admittedly, lazy. But if I can figure out whose theory it actually is (this is going back 20 odd years to college, so I deserve some credit for remembering the theory exists), I might feel less lazy.

Each of them proposed cyclic forms of social change.

If so, can’t we please all agree to leave that kind of issue alone?! Wallowing in charges & name-calling of that sort will only incite unwanted blow-back twd FDL and liberals in general.

I thot we progressives were an inclusive bunch, NOT exclusive; respect, tolerance, compassion and all that good stuff. Either you are or you’re not. You can’t have it both ways.
