Ghostman, that’s a genius idea for a commercial. Starting on basic cable, like comedy central or A&E, will be pretty much all you need. It will get picked up by people like Stewart and Olbermann, maybe even Tweety, and shown over and over?

I totally agree. I bet we could get a production crew together. And I’ll donate Dr Turtle as “The Doctor” In Uniform, with a doctor coat. The airing money will come if we build it…

And here’s how you get the money….
Make it a bipartisan freedom of speech issue, using PSAs. Shoot each PSA in front of a backdrop provided by a sponsor who is willing to pay for the privilege of airing the shots. They’re basically all the same script: Blurb about freedom of speech, and our country’s long-standing tradition of expression of personal opinions regarding politics without fear of retribution, followed by everyone shouting: I’m (names), we’re bloggers, and we approve this message!

EXAMPLES: Construction crew members in front of a K&B housing site; doctors and nurses in front of a hospital; supermarket staff persons in front of a market; attorneys and judges in front of the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile parked in front of the Federal Dist. Courthouse. (Okay, so thats MY personal fantasy….)

I just listened to the Liar News Hour
aka Lehr News Hour because they had
an interview with Lamont and Lieberman
It was the first time I was able to hear
Lamont speak, I was impressed.

Then Liberman came into view. God, I thought
those poor people in CT who had and will have to
see him and hear his whiney voice.
He said he is not runing as Independent
but as a DEMOCRAT Independent.
Now what the heck is a Democrat Independent.??

That was more then enough Holy Joe for
me so I turn the TV and Joe off.

How come we Democrats are always taking the blame for a loss? We aren’t allowed to savor sweet sweet victory even for a minute, even in our own primaries? The Republicans are very hard on us.

Feinstein update, here’s the statement from her Capitol Hill office; it is unwritten but comes directly from the press office:

Senator Feinstein will support the Democratic nominee.

I asked if there would be a formal written statement, the phone-answerer said she would relay my request to the Senator’s press office, but the Senator is in California. I responded that the SF office says she’s in DeeCee today, and was told that she is not in the DC office today.

Keep pushing, I say.

Don’t you have to wonder who threw Joe under the bus by leaking this? Did Sean Smith get his walking papers, and now he’s getting even? Did Rove plant this in the papers himself, trying to get Joe out of the race ASAP so he’ll be out of the news and not reminding Republicans in Congress that Bush is the “kiss of political death?” So many possibilities…so much imagination…

I think it was leaked by Rover the Grandson of Nazi (allegedly) not as a message to the general public but as a message to the corporatists on Wall Street and Faux “News” to feed Holy Joes monstrous ego with money and attention so that we spend time and money defeating Holier than thou Joe instead.

Joe is the biggest concern troll there is and they need him for their propaganda

if the stuff about prescott bush and rover’s anticedents is true, verrrrry interesting. something i learned just a few years back is that more americans have german ancestors than any other national or ethnic group. but of course there is a distinction to be made between germans and nazi’s……….
