I was pissed at Boxer for supporting Lieberman too, but it is pretty silly to threaten a primary challenge based on that alone. If you want to primary challenge a Democrat California Senator, DiFi is the one who acts like Joe. Pro-war, for the bankruptcy bill, etc.

I have a problem with the fact that democratic leaders like Senator Dodd and Hillary Clinton are not pressuring Joe to drop out of the race in November. The line they’re using is that “it’s his choice” whether to run or not. They say they support Ned and are behind him, but if they do not pressure Lieberman to drop out they are withholding their full support and are in fact ENABLING Lieberman. That is just plain wrong.

Fact is, it appears as if Boxer’s supprt for Lamont will be lukewarm at best. That makes her fair game if someone with the means wants to challenge her. It’s sad that a regular citizen can’t run because of the whole money thing…but someone needs to send Boxer home.

I would support ANY anti-war progressive who was willing to take her on.

Joe Lieberman had the weapons of incumbency, the best press this side of Dwyane Wade, and still lost. Sorry, but that makes him a chump–and a smug one at that.

Poor Marty “Eretz” Peretz. He had PLANS for Joe. It now seems the IDF suit at Blair House will have to wait.

I wrote to Boxer when she publically
said she would support Lieberman.
She is my Senator only because I live
in Calif.
I called her hypocritical . One time
she is one of few Democratic
Senators to criticist the Cheney rumsfeld
war , and then to support Lieberman
who was a supporter of the Cheney War.
to me smelled like something rotten

So Baraba , you are supporting Lamont
AFTER he won.
I say too little too lates.
