puppethead @ 123

That was it. It appeared on his web-site yesterday, I linked it and then it seemed to disappear when I posted the comments.

Thanks for the clarification.

I will have to hone my Lieberfacts much better in the future.

Still like the scenario (ideally imagined) that disgruntled contributors to Lieberman as Dem primary candidate force him to publicly account and confirm that all contributors to this Dem campaign have released these funds for individual/petition run…

John in Sacramento @343: thanks for the info. What is disturbing is not only the legal-person-ification of corporations but that the voice & opinions of real persons gets lost in the process. In the early days of the Soviet Union some voters’ vote was worth more (1 worker = 5 farmers, say), because they were more “enlightened”, more in tune with the times, whatever.

It’ll be a delight to watch Ahhnold squirm. How come this self-made man has become so cosy with big donors…?

Is it worth anyones election to destroy someone
in the process.

fran, get real. All FDL does or has done is observe and report Joe’s self-destruction.

He’s not up to his job. When only 100 of the millions of us Americans have that job, sit in that chamber, we can’t tolerate an empty suit in any chair. And that’s exactly what he’s revealed himself to be: a useless, tattered, empty suit.

Feh.

Fran, why do all your posts have weird line breaks?
Just seems like you are copying and pasting them from somewhere, which seems strange.

Well, well, well.

Looks like the “lesson” of the <strike>Lieberman fiasco</strike> Lamont message is getting out there.

Some suggestions for Santorum theme floats.

1. The vacant house should have an overflowing mailbox-emphasize that little Ricky’s not receiving msgs from PA.

2. Seersucker float should be labeled “Rick Santorum, proud Senator from Pennsylginia”.

Well at least your blog is dealing with issues
now and not the horrible personal attacks I read daily against Senator Lieberman.
Firedoglake has lost the moral highground it
once had during Fitzgeralds investigation.
Is it worth anyones election to destroy someone
in the process. We didn’t think so when
they(Republicans)went after Joe Wilson and
Valerie Plame!

LJ/Aquaria @ 322

Millineryman @ 295

LJ/Aquaria

Glad to hear it. Actually the suit would be the optimum choice I think. There’s a fascinating history associated with hats and their role in society.

What I find about people who are into hats, they have a passion for them. They’re great and a lot of fun.

I think we have to be passionate about them. Without us, they’d all but disappear, and that wouldn’t do!

Did anybody see the I Love Lucy episode where she agreed not to buy hats for a while? I wanted the hat she was drooling over. I wanted it so badly… It was the most utterly ridiculous and useless little thing. But I wanted it, even more than Lucy did.

I don’t recall that episode, I’m a big Lucy fan, and I think it’s evident how I feel about hats.

It’s really funny, a lot of people love hats but yet they don’t wear them. As an unfortunate side effect of global warming, more people are wearing them for protection.

There’s a certain mystique to them, and I’m fascinated by it all. Besides, they’re just plain old fun.
