I think the best way to read the Q Poll is to understand that the votes are potentially there for a significant outcome, but from now on in it is all about getting every last one of them voted.

That means a well executed GOTV ground game over the next few days, and pretty strict message control so as to not alienate anyone. As one of my Campaign Managing friends always puts it — the last few days are Gandhi time — meaning you stay super positive, and when attacked respond on message, very short sentences, and do lots and lots of turning the other cheek.

If the poll is half right, it means you have a reasoned possibility of great success. Don’t invent anything new that might blow it.

Thank God he has a 10% lead. If it dips today, I’m blaming you, for your lame ass photo you posted at Huffington Post.Talk about giving Joe needless ammo!
Get off the high horse Jane, and get back to the insightful and laser sharp writing that made this site so important! It seems that after your sites visual facelift, your amazing writing has been splashed and blured with your spittle. I love you, but the messenger should never upstage the message. Bill Clinton learned that lesson…

DBL @ 220

As a Connecticut resident, my take is that Lamont will not get any more votes on election day than he does on primary day, and Lieberman will win re-election as an Independent with 55-60% of the vote.

On what do you base this?

ARE WE SECURING THAT POLL ACCESS WILL NOT BE DENIED TO ANYONE?

sorry for the caps, and no, I have not read the enitre thread, so if this has been covered my apologies.

But what if there is voter intimidation in the poorer districts? What if we see a replay of presedential 2000 and 2004, here, at the primary level, the very foundation of our democracy?

I would not put ANYTHING past those who want to hold us back, including the repug approve Lieberman campaign.

Lastly, not only is this national in scope, it is international in scope. As a non CT, NJ native who lives overseas, our ability (over 4 million of us worldwide) to serve as chosen amabassadors for our country has been compromised by Bushco’s ridiculous policies over the years. We took the risk, embraced the unknown, to move forward with our country behind us as we ventured with our families abroad, only to see that Bushco eroded every last morsel we left behind as our foundation.

Yes, Lamont’s success is the ultimate litmus test for us all next week. And the world is counting on it…

I was at the Lamont get together in Bristol,CT. Saturday evening and I was just energized by the talk Ned Lamont had with us all. Well I was registered as an Independent and Monday I went to City Hall to change my affiliation to Democrat to vote for Mr. Lamont. While I was there four other people came in and changed their affiliation to Democrat also. He has touched a lot of people here in CT. and I hope the country sees what’s really going on here.

Kimba@7 - Howdy, Kimba. Love to read your posts - it’s lovely to see us from your perspective after living so long in this weird era where updownism seems more and more normal after 6 years. It’s also frustrating and infuriating when I think of how much ground we’ve lost with this dipso president. I look forward to more from you. And thanks for the wine recommendations!
