Your work has not offended anyone. It has only triggered opportunistic slurs from people who don’t give a sh*t about basic equality and civil society much less ethnic or racial sensitivities.

Faux indignation from Drudge or Redstate is representative of their own hypocrisy and of those who thrive on, and foster, racial division, not take offense in it.

The only thing Darkblack deserves from us is our defense. DB did no wrong. Apologies are not in order; rather we only need to point out the hypocrisy of any of the race-baiting douchebags wallowing in the primordial ooze at Redstate. They are the ones who take glee in ANY opportunity to pick the scabs off, and pour salt into, any our country’s many racial wounds.

No one on this site, especially Darkblack, owes an explanation to anyone at Redstate, or to anyone else who choses to puff on the smoke the Redstate types might blow over this, for any of the justified shots taken at the Lieberman campaign for their behavoir.

Their yelping only makes this into something it isn’t if we let them sell themselves as something they are not.

I work in Tribal programs and that has been one of the things I learned early on – is that what I thought might be offensive was not.

Just because humor makes reference to race does not necessarily means it is racist.
