Lorenzo Sunflower, Sue and her mate-for-life Pooks circled New Haven for 45 minutes without finding a parking space. When Pooks took innocent Lorenzo by the stem and threatened certain death by strangulation, it was then I realized that the concert was a lost cause.

Gosh, I wonder why? WaPo:

I do have something that bugs me about that picture — the flag.

The flag is not supposed to be used for campaigns — you can use red white and blue bunting, but not a flag (under the flag code).

I suppose it’s a quibble, when you think about it, but for me it’s just something that bugs me.

Hi! A long time lurker from Italy (jup that far way..)

A quick note to thank you for the great job FDL and its people are doing in restoring my faith in the people of the USA. Reading about your work for Lamont and the values he rappresents is a refreshing thing after seeing Bush and Co at work. The reaction to the Caan slaughter (37 children dead under the bombs) was really disheartheing and sad.

Well may I say it : Go Ned ! :)

Ref CTheGee@8:29 I wrote a long letter to DiFi about both of these obfuscators when they came up for their confirmation hearings. I believe she voted against them and the cloture vote as well.
As for George, if his mouth is moving, he’s lying. Or rather the puppet master behind him is lying. It is sad that in spite of an education that probably cost in excess of a half a million dollars, the man is still an ass with no class.

Thanks for the props — it’s hard work writing succinctly; my natural tendency is modifying clauses and adjectives and adverbs and dangling participles and obscure reverences and wandering ellipses and stuff like that . . .

In other words, I often write like John Kerry talks.
