Of course, politicians think that way, too, so maybe these journalists just absorb these ideas while eating those cocktail weenies.

It was nice of you to report on the topic of campaign funding and ignore the other issues. Although you briefly mentioned Lieberman’s failure to support the Fillibuster of Alito, you omitted a few things. For example, Joe’s support of Catholic Hospitals assertion that they have the right to deny Rape Victims with “Plan B” and that Joe thinks it’s ok that they should have to get off the Rape Gurney and drive to a hospital that would provide them this treatment. You also didn’t mention Joe’s critism of all Democrats when he said that critism of Bush during war time put this nation at peril. Let’s also not forget his endoresement of Bush and slamming of Kerry, 3 weeks prior to the November 04 election. For that last act, even more than Joe’s support of the war–I will never forgive him and am one of the small fry who have given as much to Lamont as I can.

I couldn’t help but notice that your reporting of funding, failed to list Joe’s Pac Investors…er Contributors:

You’ll see Big Sugar, Big Oil, Big Chemical, Big Media, Big Communications, Big Computer, Big Contractors, Big Defense, Big Oil, Big Banking, Big Finance, Big Insurance, Big Pharma, Big Lobbyists, etc.

By big, I mean: DOW, Dupont, Comcast, Walt Disney, Qualcomm, Cisco, HP, Eli Lilly, Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Accenture (think Big Outsourcing), Procter & Gamble, Xerox and so many more. I counted over 340 Pac groups in his current campaign (2006) alone.
