One day I went out to our collection box. I have four small containers inside a larger container that rolls into the collection box, so that your precious letters don’t get dirty or wet from falling on the ground. The rolling container comes above my waist, but the containers inside it are at my knee level. This means I must pick up things without the support of my knees. And when I tried to pick up the small container, thinking it held only letters, I injured my shoulder, elbows, knees and back, because I was lifting for something light, but got at least bricks in one container instead. I was lucky I didn’t injure my head, too, from being pulled almost into the container when I dropped it. I was hurt on the job, and for what?

Because some bozo thought he was being “clever.”
