Email Bill at www.clintonfoundation.org and express your shock that he was party to having two young, unarmed, summer-attired, registered Democrats ejected from his Lieberman appearance today. Ask him if this Bush-like, “free speech zone” behavior is what we can expect from a Hillary campaign and will he issue a public apology?

Clinton is DLC. Its his baby and he believes the Dems can’t win a National election running outside of it. However this is not a national race- its a state race in a state that leans liberal. Ct. can be won easily by the anti-war candidate. But if the anti-war crowd takes control of the National Dems then they fear it will destroy Hillary’s chances at the nomination and fear it will produce another McGovern debacle.

I think that it is very noble of Clinton to bolster Lieberman’s political fortunes. It was Lieberman you may recall, who publically decried Clinton’s affair with Monica, bolstering republican efforts to have Clinton impeached. Such forgiving behaviour is rare in politics, but Clinton is a rare politician, miles away in competentcy from the stunning mediocrity now resident in the white house.

I’m sick and tired of the Clintons’ slick husband-and-wife act overshadowing the Democratic Party.

Ned Lamont gives many people a feeling of liberation, the impression of generosity, rightly or wrongly. Liebermann and the Clintons, on the other hand, seem stifling and greedy, stingy and mean, kind of old-fashioned: a lot like Mr. Bush, in fact, Deciders.

Clinton’s “liberal” record…

Passed NAFTA, GATT, welfare “reform”, “defense” of marriage act, bombed Iraq quite a bit, kept up sanctions that killed thousands of Iraqis, bombed Serbia, bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan, blamed Hollywood for Columbine (along with Lieberman), flirted with Social Security privitization (like Lieberman), etc., etc..

When Clinton has a chance to help out the GOP or a GOP-lite politician, he jumps at it. Despite the fact that most Republicans want to stick a knife in Clinton, he still shovels their shit, then they shovel it right back at him, and he laughs, talks about great “bipartisanship” is, then contemplates which liberal constituency he can screw over to please his GOP masters. Lieberman stabbed Clinton in the back repeatedly, so, in Clinton’s strange world, that means that Joe likes him, and he has to help him out.
