zennurse couldn’t make it on our senate visit last week but said she might be able this week (this past wed.) Last we heard from her was last weekend. We’ve called her and e-mailed and no reply. That’s why I was wondering if anyone had seen her name this week. I’ve not been on the threads a lot because of doing so many other things so I haven’t been able to look.

She has not mentioned a vacation to us.

The big guns are just trying to put their finger on a leak in the dam, but they cannot prevent the dam from breaking and then they better don’t stand in the way of the floodwaters. I just went to the PAC for a change page and voted for Claire McCaskill without having to join the mailing list.
I also wrote Senator Boxer regarding her endorsement, and have yet to get a response where she is usually prompt. She knows the fallout from this is bad– that her consituents are shocked and appalled. I hope there is a method to this madness, as I have much respect for her leadership and courage on other issues.
Liebermann is going down no matter what– he’ll sink his own ship, but it’s too bad that Boxer’s reputation is tarnished by her association with him.

She’s about 60 miles from me. Frankly the north shore of Boston is an area I’m not very familiar with, but there is a wealth of health care facilities of all kinds in the area.

Boxer, on the other hand, I don’t know. She’s clearly trying to get in under the radar, so this can only be classified as a pity visit.

On the last thread, I questioned why Lamont supporters would go to a Lieberman event, even to see Clinton. I see your points about why, and agree that with sufficient Lamont paraphernalia, the media will be hard-pressed to get any footage or even photos that do not have Lamont supporters in them. Were I a CT resident, I would keep an eye out for cameras, and position myself accordingly. Hope to see some shots of The Kiss float – if it’s there, there is no way the media won’t include it in any reporting they do.

I wonder if those running the lottery will have time to do any checking to see whether someone has given to Lamont or can otherwise be identified as a supporter.

Anyway, looks like Monday will be a big day; I just don’t see the Clinton visit helping. Barbara Boxer has probably only hurt her own cause, which is a shame, as she is otherwise a very reliable liberal.

I believe we did mention that it was hard to view those photos … imagine what it is to live them. Nightmares are the least of what we owe.

MFI and his extended “family” are very concerned about the suffering of the children of the ME in particular and are doing all they can … including putting their own lives literally on the line for those children … that fact keeps me working to bring about change.

I think the pressures people face in their “other” life – you know – the one that isn’t happening through a computer – often bear on how well – or how poorly – things go in here. Plus, there’s the problem with “tone” – only the person typing really knows what tone he or she is using, and a lot of times, how one is “saying” it is not always how others hear it.

I hate to see things break down into name-calling and bickering, but I’m always glad when people can work out their differences and keep going.

I’m very much with egregious, in not wanting to be too quick to chase people away, or to burn bridges instead of build them.

That was to gain some cred from the netroots. Bill is going in to smooth over the DLCers. There is no way that Bill is going to stump for Joe without Hillary’s approval.

I Don’t know why Bubba is coming but I see a 2 to 5 point bounce for Lieberman if Bubba Speaks. I don’t think anyone will care about Boxer as they will see it as no more than payin Joe back for something, not true support. Most people will think why is the CA B%*#ch getting involved in our primary. Would I say the same thing if she was stumping for Ned probably not as she shouldn’t owe Ned yet. What she should be doing is Asking herself how is Loserman more inportant than the party.

On Clinton campaigning for Lieberman: Hillary has said she will support the winner of the CN Democratic primary. Easy to say when Joe was leading in the polls. Now that it looks like Joe may lose the primary, she is sending in Bill to try and save Joe. If Joe wins she can campaign for him. If Joe loses she can say she sent Bill to support him. Either way she will look good in the eyes of Lieberman supporters. Pretty sneaky.
