I live in Coleen’s district and I can tell you the people here are not represented by Kline’s voting record. He is a lock-step repug, and there is a very diverse population out here. So a little push from the blogosphere is really what she needs to make some noise and challenge this guy. I encourage all of you to mention this candidacy to other well known blogs and send her $5.00 even if you can. She is the real deal, and she deserves national attention.

Let’s hope, if the campaign is being kept covered, that things like the ad and the LTE and an afternoon stint at FDL help pull it out.

I wish Coleen’s work, grass roots or otherwise was a little more visible. She seems to be overlooked in coverage of races in her home state. Much more attention is paid to the race between Klien’s soul mate Michaele Bachman and child advocate Patty Wedderling. It is as if Rowleys race has been all but given up…but perhaps we have all been missing something growing quietly underfoot.
