Has anyone come to the conclusion that if in 1948, when the state of Israel was, in my opinion, rightly established, that in the interest of fairness, at the same time the Palestinians were also provided a homeland to call their own, we just might not be teetering on the brink now? And that if the George Bush group had shown a smidgen of leadership over the last few years and kept the parties in the conflict engaged, things might be a lot different right now? And the world has known, (outside of the U.S.) for an awfully long time that the battle between the the Israelis and Palestinians has not been a level playing field. It makes a mockery of the idea that America is predicated on fair-play and justice. And to those who say that the situation in the Middle East is too complicated for a solution, I would say let’s start easing tensions by showing the Arab “street” we are determined to intervene and bring whatever pressure is necessary in cleaning up the gulag that is Gaza.

This was the first time I’ve heard Valerie Wilson’s voice. Am I right in thinking this is the first time she’s spoken out?

Thanks, imm 191.

If lhp’s been heard from, I missed it, BarbaraB. But she did say last night that today would be a “big court day” for her, so we’ll prolly not hear from her until this evening or so.

BarbaraB at 199 — lhp had a trial today, so we aren’t likely to get word until this evening, I’d say, unless motions hearings go swiftly and well.

Teddy SF askedAnybody ever been kept all weekend for cellulitis? I thought it was a “catch, treat, and release” kind of infection.

Office visit, oral antibiotics for me.

“Anybody ever been kept all weekend for cellulitis? I thought it was a “catch, treat, and release” kind of infection.”

I was given a course of antibiotics and orders for various blood and vascular tests.

Completely out patient.
