I agree. This ginned up stuff about IDF prisoners being tranferred to Iran is profoundly troubling (I wish I had some gin). The real problem is the Iranian oil bourse now in operation. I always thought based on conversations with commodity traders and economists that war with Iran was inevitable once that bourse got going. The problem is that trading oil in euros could have a dramatic negative effect on the previously exclusive trading of oil in us dollars. Thus artificially propping up the us dollar since anyone who need oil (everybody) needs to acquire us dollars first.

Stepehn Parrish - I heard part of it a couple of weeks ago on a local college station, and I like it! Not to dis Mark Knopffler at all, but I really think every project she’s a part of automatically gets edged up a few notches in quality.

And if I could look half as beautiful in my 50’s with all that silver hair…

I last saw her two years ago with Buddy Miller - “Stumble Into Grace”. The first time was back in ‘75, her first solo tour.
