When I, and others, came on here to comment about Ned’s less than stellar performance in the debate, we were labeled as Lieberman shills, plants, etc. Do you now see how ridiculous that is? If we don’t accept, even invite those who are ‘on our side’, but see room for improvement, then we are as guilty as the Lieberman camp.</p> <p>On a side note, as much as I obsess over dumping Joe, I really wish the bloggers would be spending a bit more time on some other races of nearly equal importance, such as the worst congressman going–Richard Pombo of CA. The next step down this road is the Bush “public” event. But the psychology is to demonize the questioners, and it has worked disgustingly well for Bush. It’s extremely telling that Lieberman resorts to it, and that the media frames it. Perhaps it’s a strategy that is grounded in privilege.
