It’s taken me 2 hours to get through this entire thread…yeesh. I’m driving my family crazy with the electic mix of content, although they all were absolutely silent, the little guy sat on my lap for the entirety of 20 minutes of Kaki King clips. (Thanks, grs!)

And now my contribution, for a quiet Independence Day morning: George Benson and Breezin’ (1978). Not the best production values, but wow, does it collapse time for me.

Thanks to me kids, I actually have multiple YouTube favorites. The kids make me play them all over and over again.

The family favorite has to be The Ramayana Monkey Chant, which we learned about through Scott Hacker’s excellent Foobar Blog.

Also via Scott Hacker: South African Spoon Guitar.

Hint: Scott Hacker also runs a very nice WordPress host in case you’re looking for one. Just sayin’.

Then there is the awesome and somewhat famous Jake Shimabukuro ukulele solo, which truly is an amazing virtuoso performance.

My own favorite is the balls-out energy of DCI Blast! Malaguena. Oh Baby!
