Here’s a tip for you: When you find yourself wanting to paste a clip into a form field that you have copied from somewhere else, try using Ctrl V. This generally works in all things Windows/PC based. I don’t know what the maneuver would be on a Mac.

That is actually not a squirrel. It`s a wine drunk chipmunk that drank a pint of aged Ripple left over from the first Mt.Adams Art Festivel in 1968 in Cincinnati,Ohio.I think his name is Alvin.
It was thought at that time that if one would drink beer through a straw it would get the job done quicker and cheaper.It was later determined that this was only the case if one used a left-handed straw.However,if Ripple and any kind of straw were used, a quick and powerful feeling of euphoria was achieved each and every time.

I should have added in 97 that my approach works in a Word document but copyng it into comments does not work and the selected text loses its embedded URL.

Your instructions didn’t work for me. You are right though and echo what somebody else told me to do. If I want to embed a URL in a word, I do a Word document then cut and paste. I simply write what I want to write and then highlight the word to embed a URL in, click on Insert menu and select Hyperlink. In the drop down box I enter the URL adress where it asks for it with the relevant highlighted text to display. That works for me although for some reason I have to type the URL ad in as paste facility is mysteriously not available in the Hyperlink dialogue box. Most times I simply can’t be bothered and just copy and paste the URL ad without embedding it in a word or phrase.
