Oh, and on Edwards v. Feingold:

Feingold has a perfect “don’t f*ck with me” look. Edwards has the opposite.

Sorry Edwards fans–but as long as elections in this country are all about who is the bigger alpha male, Sonofamillworker “Robin” Edwards will NEVER win.

OMG I am WAY behind on the blogs. . . but if you haven’t contributed to Lamont’s campaign yet, DO IT NOW–and if you have, DO IT AGAIN! Just like Kurtz says, this is a test–a test of the political power of the blogs to drag politicians a bit further to the left. Can we do it? YOU BET!

The country-and the Democrats–are watching!

TRANNY-ANNIE ENDORSES JOE-MENTUM!

This just in from ThinkProgress: Right-wing pundit Ann Coulter appeared on Fox News this afternoon to discuss the war in Iraq. Coulter derided the lawmakers who have called for a redeployment strategy from Iraq, questioning whether “FDR [had] to deal with this during World War II.” She argued that the only type of politician she “admires” is someone like Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) because he “does want to defend America and fight the war on terrorism.”

Dig it, including video, here: http://thinkprogress.org/2006/.....lieberman/

Lieberman is no less nauseating than he’s ever been, but what really needs to be looked at here is Lieberman’s battle plan for the Connecticut primary.

Joe’s plan is to run out the clock until primary day and hope he eeks out a majority, thereby retaining his seat. If not, he’ll break out the independent petitions.

It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t care to run on issues important to the people of his own party in Connecticut. If he was, he wouldn’t lead off the REPUBLICAN charge in the Senate in favor of continuing the Iraq quagmire. The war isn’t playing well back home, and whatever principle he’s trying to uphold (although most evidence collected to date fails to establish Joe Lieberman as a man of principles) by caucasing with Republicans is lost on Democratic voters in Connecticut.

If my prayers are answered, the debate between Lamont and Lieberman will be televised on C-Span. I’m thinking of my pizza order for that night right now. It’ll go down smooth with a big glass of an incumbent getting his ass kicked.

Josh Marshall pointed out that the WSJ Zogby poll doesn’t even include Montana and Rhode Island where the Democrats have an excellent chance to grab 2 Republican Senate seats.
