Fun little thing. We get only Ruby-throats here in OH. Lots of migrants that just pass thru, plus our own resident pairs.

I can always tell when “our” locals have arrived. Males get here 1st, and one day early in May, I just KNOW I’ll look up and see a very insistant little critter hovering right in the center of the kitchen window, glaring at me straight in the eye.

You better believe I’d better get that feeder out PDQ. He always looks as if he’s about to come straight thru the window to help.

Question: if these feathered cuties are so dang smart, how come w can have such a big head &, seemingly, nothing at all going on therein? sigh.

Amen! That’s my problem too. The saturation advertising by scum has confused the situation horribly, as has (I fear) the rampant ignorance & just plain laziness among legislators. I’m afraid they’re just blindly following lobbyists & liars telling them how to vote, without a real clue of implications for the net and the rights of real folk using it.
Seems we’re perilously close to losing democracy bigtime, & the net’s become the only means of decent communication anymore. Ack!

Thanks for being able to get your head together to try to do something major. My mind’s still mushy on which vote means what, and our computer-guru-son’s tried to explain it to me three times. I don’t THINK I’m quite THAT stupid, or round-the-bend addled. There truly has been a concerted campaign to confuse us all. Dang!
