If anything, Matt proved that she has no ability to speak under pressure and that she doesn’t have a cohesive thought of her own that’s not pre-massaged by publicists and editors. If she doesn’t have a script or a teleprompter, she can’t speak. It was so blatantly obvious that all she prepped for on Today was a plug of her book. And when Matt took her to task, she couldn’t respond.

For the record, I am neither liberal nor conservative. What I am is an American who is put off by her ignorance and ashamed to realize that so many people actually buy into her garbage politicizing.

Yep, that sounds about right.

Statements such as, “Pull out of Iraq now,” “War crimes trials should begin,” “Promote alien marriage,” and “Pinochet and Cheney are twin brothers of different mothers,” should be made by media people. These extreme statements advance whacked out ideas that no one believes, but it give the appearance that anything the democratic representatives pale by comparison.

Since the vast majority of concepts put forward by the Republican Party are destructive to democracy, American ideals and the intent of the Constitution, one might assume that it is the enemy within.

We know this cannot be true because the enemy within would torture Americans – guilty and innocent alike. They would kill Americans – guilty and innocent alike. They would steal from those with great need to give to those who have more than enough. They would start wars against nations that represent no threat. They would argue from a paranoid state that pre-emptive war is a necessity. They would ridicule emotional and spiritual health, because they advance self-reliance and are more difficult to manipulate. They would advance cynicism throughout the society to coarsen the discourse and dehumanize one’s fellow man. They would allow marketers to manipulate their children, and would take special delight in conning adults. The middle class would be losing ground to the wealthy as the poor lose everything. They would claim to be conservatives, but would be something else entirely. “%u2026something evil, this way comes.”

Appearing in Playboy and getting divorced ….neither of those being scenarios Ann Coulter is ever going to have to deal with in her life.

In actuality, she hardly sells any books–The overwhelming majority of her “sales” consist of mass-buys by rightwing sites, which GIVE AWAY her books along with yearly memberships, sometimes 2 books at a time.

When do you see Michael Moore’s, or
Al Franken’s books just given away via promotional offers?

NEVER.
Because regular customers actually BUY their books.

The pitiful fact is, even Coulter’s
most devoted “fans” don’t actually pay money for her books.

It is the book-publishing equivalent of:

“…And if you join our music CD club TODAY, you get a free double CD of Milli Vanilli’s greatest hits–That’s, FREE, folks!”

Coulter is strictly a manufactured phenomenon, fed & nurtured by the circular, self-reinforcing moneybag$
behind rightwing publishing, nothing more.

If anyone skilled at investigation pursues this, they will find this to be incontrovertibly true.

It is her Achilles heel (along with her obvious mental instability).
