At 5pm EDT/2pm PDT we’ll be discussing Before the Storm: Barry Goldwater and the Unmaking of the American Consensus at the FDL Book Salon, and joining us will be author Rick Perlstein and Henry Farrell from Crooked Timber.  Last week’s discussion was amazing, and we averaged 4500 unique visitors an hour (unheard of for a Sunday afternoon) who were refreshing so frequently to see new comments that our servers were crawling.  We’re on newer, faster servers this week so we should be able to handle the traffic much better.  Please stop by and join us.
