[…] Everyone involved with this action - from organizers, to those who donated books, to those who will help deliver the books tomorrow - met online. We’ve come together on the blogs because we care about what’s going on in our country. But caring isn’t enough, so we’ve gotten together on email lists, conference calls, planning meetings, and now days of action. We may not have the power of Rove’s smear machine, but we’re organizing.

If any of you came in after Mission Accomplished, please consider donating to Levee for Life, which is buying books for Louisiana libraries damaged & destroyed by Katrina. The standard contribution is less than $10, and a little goes a long way.

As an aside, kudos to the American Library Association for taking their convention to New Orleans this year.

Thanks.

This is a cool project ;)

Operation Rubber Stamp turned out well, it was cool to see the action on the panel and floor. Maybe with this going on we can let our leaders know whats up with the homeland folks like us and whats on our mind.

Perhaps I should have read the book first, but at this point any action seems like good action. The roots are setting and the grass is looking beautiful, keep up the hard work.
