I couldn’t agree more with your analyses & comments Roger…Gingrich is indeed a blowhard who loves the sound of his own voice & seems blissfully unaware of the inconsistencies & Fundamentalist-style rants that make up the bulk of his monologues. I kept waiting for Condi Rice to pop her head around the corner & pipe in on the Iran rant..”yep, going to be mushroom clouds over Jericho & New York if we don’t take action, Hallelujah!”.

I kinda like Tim Russert but he seemed fluish & somewhat outa his depths today.Would luv to have seen him hang Gingrich w/ his own words…guess we’ll have to wait for The Daily Show for some justice.

Frist had me in stitches over that ‘Border Wall’ comment. This is one guy who can’t help but step into the s**t pile everytime he opens his mouth. Inadvertantly tragic. Rational Polis: “Runaway train comin’ Bill, move outa the way!”…Frist: “I say, I say what?”

As for the Mother issue…right there w/ ya buddy…my Mum would rather eat her own right hand than agree w/ her iconoclastic son. Guess Bob Schieffer is one lucky guy.Thems the breaks eh?

Fitz is a straight shooter — when he asks the GJ for an indictment, he won’t sit on it. And he definitely wouldn’t wave it in the perp’s face.

Prior to the indictment, he will negotiate — after negotiations fail, it’s true bill and lay his cards on the table at a presser.

I think the whole story is a ratfuck — but Fitz is beyond the reach of a Rove ratfuck, and Bush ain’t gonna put his own codpiece on the line, for the sake of the hired help.

roger ailes, the good one, is an excellent addition to the fdl team. and there’s no one i would trust more to watch tv for me than him.

that being said…

there will be certain gaps in the coverage. in my cable market, all four broadcast head shows run at the same time (8:00 to 9:00 a.m.). (there are second showings of meet the press and fox news sunday at 10:00 a.m.) so, for example, i missed the bit where laura bush declared herself a feminist by blinking her eyes in morse code.

tehre’s a new thing, roger, it’s called tivo…
