[…] Wait, we’re supposed to believe that the very lawyer who finessed Rush’s Pee Deal *snicker* has absolutely no idea that getting a prescription under someone else’s name is illegal in most states? […]

I am a therapist. Limbaugh has a deferred sentence not a “pee” deal. I would also be willing to bet that he will have a very hard time jumping through the hoops for those darn “liberal” drug counselors.

I have worked with many and they know who is and isn’t working their program. It is easy to see that he is not “in recovery”. He will get caught eventually. Thats the nice thing about addiction…so different than with Rove…addicts only get worse unless they get recovery. With Rove… it’s more of a personality disorder and plain sociopath. Sociopaths get away with lots of stuff. Addicts always screw up eventually, it’s the nature of the disease. Just watch and wait.

I think that Putin can play RealPolitik much better that Bush If the US keep playing its colored revolution game in south Asia, he might “lose” a tactical nuke that an Islamic extremeist just might “find”.

This really should a belong back in the Beam Me Up thread, but considering that the prescription was for viagra, it seems somewhat appropriate:

Not to worry. Florida now has that stand your ground law.

Big pharma will just hook his little dick up to the whizzinator (check that out on google) and give a UA that’s negative for anything. Money can buy a guy anything…including all the oxy he wants. Haven’t been a public defender for a million years to not know about some of this shit.

Is it illegal to give the sheriff’s department a bogus address?

If you look at Rush’s mugshot, it lists (along with his full name [his middle name is Hundson] and birthdate [1-12-51] his address as 340 Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach. But that’s the address of a shopping center just over the bridge from West Palm. Rush’s home address is 1495 North Ocean Blvd., on the other side of Palm Beach island.

Is he such a liar that he lied on his mugshot? It’s possible that he gave his correct address to the sheriff, and they let him use another address on his public booking photo. But I sure would like to know for sure.

I’ve tipped a couple of reporters locally, so we’ll see if anything comes of it. I also plan to post something about it tomorrow on my mortgage blog, Mortgage Matters.

Even if there’s a good explanation, I find it interesting that he misleads people even in his mugshot. What do they say in AA? That’s drinkin’ thinkin’? Addicts are liars, and once an addict, always an addict.

My question remainss, does Rush’s “treatment” by his doctor of 2 1/2 years allow for the continued provision of prescribed opiates, or does his supervision stipulate he is to be substance free? Is his “treating” (for addiciton) doctor the same one who is his prescribing doctor. If so, his pee tests are virtually worthless as far a detecting non-prescribed use (of opiates).

BC — actually, the tests pretty reliably show a pattern of anomolies — as in elevated creatine levels with no explanation, diluted samples, occasionally you get female urine from a male probationer (oops! Dang Y chromosome that shows up — or not — if there is some blood in the urine), etc., etc. And if the anomolies continue more than once, most jurisdictions haul your ass immediately to the local clinic for a blood draw. Why pay the extra money unless you need to, since most local law enforcement budgets are already stretched eight ways to Sunday. But in my experience, the cheaters pretty much always get caught — sometimes it just takes an extra month.
