It really is just a formality. Tony Snow and his cohorts at FOX News defend and spin for the Bush White House everyday on almost every issue. Might as well get paid for it, too, while heâ€™s at it. The only change coming out of this is that FOX News will have talking points a bit faster than usual.

snow may not super-intelligent but he is media savvy and quick on his feet. he was on bill maher a while back and he held up pretty well. mcclellan won’t be a tough act to follow. as for being more forthright, he won’t be, but he will put a glitzier brand of lipstick on the pig.
