Not that it’s a surprise or anything, but how can you take an administration seriously when they can’t keep on message.
Take the situation with the gas prices. BushCo is freaking out, and so today he got up and did a little policy shilling, ordering a temporary halt of deposits to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to ease the supply, saying “we’re serious” about reducing the cost at the pump.
The problem is that just last week, Dear Leader’s Energy Secretary, Sam Bodman, said that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve was not going to be manipulated to lower gas prices.
