Kristol said they would move Left ages ago. It’s a good way to sell the ‘ blood-for-oil’ invasion as womens liberation. It’s a proven winner as witness Arianna forgiving and blessing the eye of Newt the other day.

It makes good sense to move left - they already have the two big Left planks of ‘ Leninist’ ( Fukuyama) foreign policy and deficit funding/ poor peasant bashing going on strong.

Hitchens is a solid Trotskyist bulwark for them and they can even play up the ‘ socialist’ part of Ledeen’s National Socialism. Shrub may aim to be the new LBJ and with a Nuke or two he could easily surpass the LBJ death toll.

I’m glad to hear that your wife’s okay. Chest pain in women of a certain age is nothing to mess around with, and it’s nice to know that the message is getting across to the docs. Finally.

I hope that her employer has a HCSA program to go along with that POS health insurance policy. That’s the sort of thing that makes you think, “I can wait until tomorrow and go see my regular doc.” Which is fine, until you run into the incident where you can’t wait until tomorrow.

Why criticize the military for retraining sailors? Charlie Rangel’s about the only one in Congress who has the cojones to say he wants universal conscription. By introducing the draft, we’d unseat the chicken hawks overnight: they wouldn’t send their own kids off to combat — that goes for Hillary & Lieberman too. But neither lefties nor righties want the draft: they like it when our leaders [both parties] sucker other folks’ kids into serving

Industry callout is ‘Net Energy Return’

attach value of 1 if energy going in is equal to energy of finished product -

Overall Ethanol appears to be value of 1.65 for Corn based and 1.29 for Celluoistic (sp?)

The NRDC imprimatur makes me comfortable with the figures being free of industry spin

The scariest thing of all is that they really don’t care. It is ALL about profit and power. The profit keeps rolling in while the power is being sapped away.

They are becoming more and more like cornered wolves. I just wish I knew what it will take to bring them down!
