The BENRUS Type II Class A was in my opinion a much nicer design than the type I. It is unfortunate that originals are now selling for such high prices at auction. I have recently seen a good homage at www.special-forces.co.uk/kronos.htm which looks exactly like the original and has a good ETA 25 jewel movement.

Considering what the Democrats are actually like, I wouldn’t be too sure that they will use all their investigative and subpoena powers if they win back any house. I’m sure Jay Rockefeller will find some excuse not to investigate the WH’s intelligence hijinks to the maximum that his committee could, even if he becomes chairman.

Looking at DJ DrZ’s post (# 92), I am interested in knowing how many of our FDL regular contributors are Quakers and/or how many, like me, have several generations of Quaker ancestors (in my case, by way of my paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother).
