There are so many Yahoo groups for impeaching bush and I belong to a small fraction of them but still is alot of groups and visit only sporatically.

As we fight the Rethug Slander, we must and I can’t stress this enough–remind folks that Baptise gave up a 3rd Star to speak out. That sacrifice has to be honored. It not only impacts his standing amongst his peers, but his Pension as well. I know that none of those who attack these generals would do as much for thier country.

Yes, it would. Those generals were in service long enough to still fall under the old pension system of receiving half their active duty pay.

By refusing promotion and opting to retire, their retirement pay will reflect the lower rank. Their stepping forward will cost them emotionally and financially.

Regarding John Kerry’s picture appearing ina museum in Vietnam, that story is true.
There is a facility in Ho Chi Minh City that is called “The Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum.” A Conservative group called Vietnam Vets for Truth sent a photographer to the museum In June, 2004 to document the presence of the picture and to confirm that it was still on display.

Kerry critics say it shows that Kerry is being honored by the Communist Vietnamese. Some reports say the picture is in a portion of the museum that honors whose who helped the communists achieve victory in Vietnam.

Kerry supporters say the picture is not from Kerry’s anti-war years but shows him as a member of a delegation of Americans who were in Vietnam because of the issue of American prisoners of war and missing in action.

The Swift Boat Liars, of which Jerome Corsi, the co-author of the article in question have been so caught in so many lies that I am quite reasonably prone to believe the latter explanation of the photo, and not the explanation of the Swift Boat Liars.

You just closed your casket, Shooter, with those remarks. Kerry didn’t make a speech “trashing the troops”. Kerry made a speech that included quotes and examples of what troops had told him. Your talking points are now as out in the open as they will ever need to be. No “probably” about it, or you.

Probably? Probably doesn’t cut it. I took a quick look and the photoshop perp still hasn’t been identified. Whoever the photographer is on the museum site, he took great pains to put the exhibit in context. Unless you have something better than “probably”, I’m going to believe it. The problem you and Kerry have, is that at the end of the day, there is no discounting Kerry gave the infamous speech trashing the troops.
