They can’t give up on Bush now. He and his fellow God-inspired prophets in the Republican Party will help them finally outlaw abortion, outlaw pornography, outlaw sex toys, outlaw homosexuality, outlaw masturbation, outlaw sex-ed classes, outlaw nudity, outlaw racy television programming, outlaw cussing, outlaw the Constitutional separation of church and state, outlaw that pesky Bill of Rights, outlaw, outlaw, outlaw, ad nauseum.

Gee, with all these references to outlaw, I get the impression that the 33 percent who still support Bush through hell and highwater are the real “outlaws” out to destroy our democracy…and the “rule of law.” In fact, their view is that their Bible trumps our Constitution and our democratic rights. To hell with our democracy, they keep proclaiming. They are “above the law” just as their savior, Bush, is “above the law” that mere mortals like our founding fathers created.

Such arrogance. Such hubris. Such stupidity.

To put it simply:

The more censorship in any society, the less individual freedom enjoyed.

Conversely,

The less censorship in any society, the more individual freedom enjoyed by that society’s citizens.

The 33 percent who are blindly leading their families into Bush-induced hell are of the “more censorship” camp. Like the Taliban. The al Qaeda. The Communists. The Nazis. The Wahhibists.

The more freedom, less censorship.

A simple equation that literally defines whether one lives in a true democracy or one lives in a totalitarian, dictatorial hell.

Obviously, 33 percent of our fellow citizens prefer the latter. Are they crazy?!?!?

Startling, isn’t it, that supposedly “intelligent” whites fear the “brown hordes” in ways they know are totally inappropriate for any non-bigot.
