Maybe you think I’m living in the past. If we’re going to have a future that is where we need to look. Someone who is tried and true. He has everything that NO Republican candidate could possibly bring to the arena. I too have known Al for many years. Visited him in DC when he was my Rep, talked to him as a Senator and seen him on the campaign trail. He is not wooden. He is funny and sweet and one of the most intelligent and thoughtful men I’ve ever known. His family is just precious and we already know what little dust they will toss at him during a campaign.I’m still kicking myself for not working harder for him. I can only imagine what his family went through during the campaign and it’s aftermath. Two words here: Intelligence and Integrity</p> I still have a Gore bumpersticker on my car.
