To hell with Iran. Who gives a shit what happens to them! They’ve been a country of religious extremism and violence for years and years. The problems in the Middle East will never go away unless we kill ‘em all and start over.

Afganistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria… fuck ‘em. Let them all perish in a big fucking mushroom cloud.

For me personally, I’m sick of waiting for the Democrats to do something worthwhile to stop the Republicans. I’m tired of being on a losing team with a bunch of losers. I’ve decided to start supporting Bush and all his craziness. I can’t wait to see that big fuckin’ mushroom cloud over Iran. We owe them for the hostage thing 27 years ago, right?

Why is our population so apathetic? With this attitude, it is no wonder that Bush feels that he is “the annoited” one! Where is the Democratic leadership? Is it time for another political party?

Chinese direct investment in the U.S. is minimal, and does not register on the Department of Commerce data release. That should change with the 2005 Lenovo acquisition of IBM’s Personal Computing Division. Hong Kong investment in the U.S. totals $1.8 billion.
ppp, I for some personal reason, would like to consider HongKong and China Mainland totally distinct entities.

Canada does not seem to be much of a player in these statistics I grabbed quick off the net, at the same time we care how their public chimes in. It is clear why the UK pals up. I suppose all investors take interest in their investments, don’t we all. At this time I’m not convinced by the hysteria of either side of the Iran issue and further I am not convinced that the U.S. no matter how many drums are beating or tricks of the administration has the stomach, resources, support and ability to take on Iran. To the contrary, the attacks of Afghanistan and Iraq in no way show sufficient strength to take on Iran alone, even the propped up nuke idea. There maybe something else in play and hysteria and friendship in Canada or Ireland for that matter may not be the crux.

I just wanted to confirm that in my opinion this post represents the point of view of a large majority of educated Canadians with the sole exception of the ‘Canada should have nukes’ remark. There would be virtually no support for this. It would have been very easy to go down that path in 1946. Method, means and opportunity all existed in large measure. Mackenzie King made a conscious decision not to do it. Even allowing ‘borrowed’ warheads into the country in the 1960s provoked significant opposition.

I don’t think that it overstates the direness of the current situation to say that if, as seems certain now, the USA attacks Iran, it will be friendless for a good long time. This must be stopped in the next 2 or 3 weeks. There is little time left. Wayne Madsen also seems to think that there will be four full carrier task forces in the China Sea next August. Perhaps for a little son et lumiere in North Korea? Who in the Rest of the World would be surprised? Who in the Rest of the World would now believe assurances to the contrary? For that matter, who is left in the Rest of the World who believes a single thing this wretched excuse for a government says about anything?
